What I Offer

Public speaking

I am well experienced at speaking on issues around disability and LGBT+ awareness in a range of contexts including keynote speeches, workshops, panel discussions and more informal discussions.

I pride myself on being able to adapt my approach to meet the needs of my audience and am happy speaking either in person or remotely.

Training

I can provide bespoke training on issues around disability and LGBT+ awareness to small and large groups.

I have previously delivered sessions on disability discourse, models of disability, visual impairment awareness as well as trans awareness training and ways to be a better ally to trans people.

I am very flexible in my approach and am able to explain often complex and controversial topics in a straightforward and easy to understand way.

Consultancy

I can work with you and your group or organisation to ascertain how best to support your disabled and/or LGBT+ staff, customers or service-users.

I have particular expertise in advising on topics around supporting disabled and LGBT+ staff in the workplace and have an excellent working knowledge of the associated policy and legal framework.

Podcast

I present The Simply Equality podcast which seeks to foreground the lived experiences of disabled and LGBT+ people.

I have so far interviewed a variety of people who are both disabled and LGBT+ and am always keen to hear from people who want to be featured on future episodes.

I am also happy to discuss how I might be able to work with you if you too have a podcast that discusses issues around LGBT+ or disability equality.
